Additional non-uniform compound: three disphenoids The Compound of 3 disphenoids is an exact original construction of the three-disphenoid stellation listed as number 10 in George W. Hart's catalogue of fully supported stellations of the triakis tetrahedron: https://georgehart.com/virtual-polyhedra/stellations-triakis-tetrahedron.html Take the four sign-product -1 vertices (±1,±3,±3) for one tetragonal disphenoid. Put the coordinate of magnitude 1 along each of the three axes in turn to get the three congruent constituents. Each has four congruent isosceles triangles: two sides 2*sqrt(10), base 6*sqrt(2). Opposite tetrahedron edges are equal in pairs. The volume of each unscaled constituent is 24. The twelve complete face planes are the signed cyclic permutations of 3x+y+z=3 with coefficient sign-product +1. Up to one common scale, these are exactly the twelve original triakis-tetrahedron face planes. No source VRML, images or text have been copied from Hart's pages. This non-uniform compound has no UC number. F=12, E=18, V=12 are totals of the three separate tetrahedral constituents. All twelve vertex positions are distinct; intersection lines and points do not add vertices or faces. There are twelve shorter edges and six longer ones; long/short = 3/sqrt(5). Components retain separate colours and can be inspected individually. The same offline compound generator reproduces this construction. Skilling catalogue and eight selected dual compounds Compound geometry comes from Antiprism’s Skilling catalogue and symmetry constructions (base/skilling.cc by Roger Kaufman), using the unmodified Antiprism library by Adrian Rossiter and Roger Kaufman. Pinned source revision: 7805b34d3f8860857fb9ac10a1917d1bf4c7888d https://github.com/antiprism/antiprism https://www.antiprism.com Examples cover UC1–UC75 in John Skilling’s catalogue. UC20–UC25 are examples of infinite prism series, with n=5, k=3 and d=1 or 2. Entries with rotational freedom use a fixed 20-degree construction parameter. Eight selected dual compounds are generated by componentwise polar reciprocity. Constituents and complete original face loops are kept separate, including coincident vertex positions.
